About Me

Hi, I am Tegan. I am a stay at home/work from home mum of two and wife. I have a Diploma in fine arts from Whitecliffe College of Art and Design, Auckland. In my final year I focused on ceramics, and was lucky enough to have access to my parents' ceramic factory, Studio Ceramics. I helped run "paint your own" classes there and learnt the basics. When I transferred to Christchurch and settled down to start a family, I was in need of a creative outlet and escape from the daily mum grind. So I became a member of my local pottery club. After having my second child and with lockdown thrown in the mix I decided to invest in my own studio and purchased a wheel and kiln so I could work from home. I would love for my pieces to be featured in your home and maybe one day have you in one of my workshops.
